Two architects. Seven decades. One ridge.
Donald Ross routed the original nine holes here in 1948, working the natural roll of the Piedmont. For nearly seventy years his front nine stood largely intact.
In 2015 the Town closed the course for a complete reimagining. Kris Spence — the architect responsible for restoring more Ross courses than anyone alive — added nine holes on the back ridge and quietly tuned the original. It reopened in 2016.
